Brianna Jagelski is an associate at the firm, focusing primarily in medical malpractice defense. Ms. Jagelski advocates on behalf of individual healthcare providers, physician’s groups, hospitals and other types of healthcare providers, both in court and in State licensing boards. In the spring of 2018, Ms. Jagelski second-chaired a four-week medical malpractice jury trial which resulted in a full defense verdict. The plaintiffs sought over $16 million in damages.
Prior to joining Sanders & Parks, Ms. Jagelski practiced medical malpractice defense at a prominent law firm in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ms. Jagelski attended the University of New Mexico School of Law, where she was a participant in the National Health Law Moot Court and was a manuscript editor for the Natural Resources Journal. Ms. Jagelski also participated in the Southwest Indian Law Clinic, a program which provides legal representation for indigent native peoples for various legal issues, and remains active in volunteering for similar programs.
