Alejandro D. Barrientos

Alejandro is a litigation and appellate attorney at Sanders & Parks.  He has previously represented individuals and corporations before state and federal trial courts, the Arizona Court of Appeals, the Arizona Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

After graduating with honors from law school, Alejandro served as a judicial law clerk to both the Honorable Maurice Portley of the Arizona Court of Appeals and the Honorable Ann A. Scott Timmer of the Arizona Supreme Court. During both clerkships, Alejandro polished his appellate skills while he worked under the training and supervision of two experienced and respected jurists.

Alejandro then successfully represented civil clients across multiple appellate jurisdictions, including the Arizona Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth circuit.  He additionally represented clients in contract, construction, administrative, insurance, and other litigation-related matters.

Alejandro was named a Super Lawyers Southwest Rising Star in 2024 and 2025, as well as an emerging leader in Arizona law for 2025 by AZ Business Magazine.

When he is not working, Alejandro likes to spend his free time at home with his wife, two children, and Shih Tzu.
