Mr. Eaves is a senior owner and director of the firm. He has been defending doctors, hospitals and other healthcare providers in malpractice cases for 16 years. Mr. Eaves is a trial lawyer and regularly defends complex medical cases in Arizona courts. Mr. Eaves is a respected trial attorney and is called upon to represent various governmental entities in high profile cases which are likely to go before a jury. He has been recognized by his peers as a SuperLawyer and as one of America’s Best Attorneys.
Arizona Malpractice
Mr. Eaves handles cases involving allegations of malpractice against physicians, attorneys and other professionals in Arizona. Mr. Eaves also practices before various professional boards including the Arizona Medical Board and the State Bar of Arizona in matters involving administrative complaints against doctors, lawyers and other professionals.
Governmental Entities
Mr. Eaves represents the City of Phoenix as well as Maricopa County in medical malpractice cases, personal injury cases, and cases involving allegations of Constitutional violations. Mr. Eaves also has the honor of serving as a special prosecutor in complex criminal prosecutions from time to time.
Arizona Administrative Law
Mr. Eaves protects the rights of professionals who have been accused of unprofessional conduct in the State of Arizona. He represents Arizona residents as well as others who stand accused of some ethical violation before the Arizona State Bar, the Arizona Medical Board, the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners and others.

Significant Representations
- Haught v. Sharma et al.: Mr. Eaves defended his clients in this month-long medical malpractice trial. Plaintiffs asked for more than $16 million in damages during closing arguments. The jury returned a defense verdict in favor of Mr. Eaves’ clients.
- Elmore v. Thygerson; Mr. Eaves defended his client in a 3-week, medical malpractice, wrongful death, jury trial. The jury returned a defense verdict in favor of Mr. Eaves’ client.
- Heinemann v. Dacanay; Mr. Eaves defended his client in a 3-week, medical malpractice, jury trial. Plaintiffs settled the day before closing arguments.
- State v. Rozenman; Mr. Eaves was appointed as special prosecutor in this Conspiracy to Commit First Degree Murder case which went to a 9-week jury trial. The jury convicted the defendant who was sentenced to life in prison.
- Milke v. Maricopa County; Mr. Eaves represents Maricopa County in this wrongful conviction case in which the Plaintiff claims she was wrongfully sent to death row for the murder of her 4 year old son.
Honors and Awards
- Eaves was recognized by the Chief of the Phoenix Police Department for his efforts in targeting and prosecuting some of the toughest gangs in the City of Phoenix.
- Eaves was the recipient of the Award of Excellence from the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.
- Eaves was given the Theresa Hoover Volunteer Service Award for creating a team which remodeled seized drug houses so that they could be converted to homes for recovering addicts and their families.
- Eaves was honored by the Arkansas Sheriff’s Association for his assistance with a summer camp for underprivileged children.

- Eaves has been recognized by his peers as a Best Lawyer in Arizona and a Best Lawyer in America.
