Megan Evans is an associate at the firm, focusing primarily in the area of medical malpractice defense.  She defends physicians and other healthcare providers throughout all phases of the litigation process.  Additionally, Ms. Evans represents physicians and healthcare providers before their various licensing boards, and provides counseling to clients to help them avoid litigation, when possible.  She also advises healthcare clients regarding their duties in responding to subpoenas and medical records’ requests.

In addition to her healthcare work, Ms. Evans handles other types of professional licensing matters, including representation of attorneys before the Arizona State Bar.  She also represents municipalities, and their affiliated entities, in various tort and civil rights litigation matters.   

Ms. Evans earned her Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, graduating cum laude in 2011.  During law school, Ms. Evans participated in mock trial, was a volunteer student attorney with the ASU Civil Justice Clinic, and was a William H. Pedrick scholar.  Prior to joining Sanders & Parks, she worked for a boutique personal injury litigation firm.

Ms. Evans is a member of the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel and a former AADC Young Lawyers Division Board member, and remains active in the AADC.  In addition, she volunteers her time coaching the highly-successful Brophy Mock Trial team, teaching her students trial and oral advocacy skills.

Ms. Evans is admitted to practice in Arizona and the United States District Court, District of Arizona.
